The results are in!

The first Slice Quick Poll asked whether your use of social media as a source of food ideas and inspiration had increased over the past year.  Over 80 percent of respondents indicated that it had.

Around half of you said that you used it MUCH more for food inspiration this year, and around a third of you said that you used it a LITTLE more in that way.

Only around 17 percent (or 2 of you) said that you didn’t use social media in this way.

I was delighted and grateful to each and every person that responded – A VERY BIG THANKYOU.

Of course it would be misleading* not to qualify the results with a BIG statement about 12 votes not being a statistically robust sample size.  But you have to start somewhere, huh?

And results are supported by stats released in July (see below) showing that social media use in Australia is on the increase (although apparently not Pinterest in July, according to the stats below):

Our next Quick Poll looks at social media platforms of choice, if you feel inclined.  And don’t forget the 2 minute Slice Gourmet Food Survey is still live;  I’d be ever so grateful for your feedback.
