One of my many enduring food memories is helping mum thread toothpicks with rings of cabanossi, multi-coloured cocktail onions and cheese.
I don’t recall if she ever made oyster patties for the same soires, but this cookbook probably hails from the same era.
A few weeks ago I helped her move and I couldn’t help taking a few pix.
